Being a Public School Kid

There was nothing remotely directly or indirectly “woke” or “leftist” about Mrs. Higuchi’s public school classroom. There was no “indoctrination.” It wasn’t about empathy or sympathy. Instead, it was something much more classically humanist — perhaps even personalist. She taught love.
