Sacred Season: A Podcast About Parenting Through the Church Year

Sacred Season is designed to come alongside you with encouragement for every season of life, especially parenting in the little years—a sacred but sometimes challenging season. Episodes will be released at the start of each new season in the liturgical calendar and will use the themes of the church season as a guide to explore how the life of Christ is mirrored in our own lives and in the sacred call of mothering.

Danielle Hitchen

Danielle Hitchen is the founder of Catechesis Books and the author of the Baby Believer Primers – a series of board books to designed to introduce little ones to core concepts of the Christian faith.

Her professional background includes communications consulting, radio production, event planning, and non-profit and church administration.

Danielle is a graduate of the Torrey Honors Institute at Biola University where she earned her B.A. in Humanities. She currently resides in northern Virginia with her husband and three children.

Erin Hawley

Erin Morrow Hawley is the author of Living Beloved: Lessons from my little ones about the heart of God.

She is a graduate of Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and of the Yale Law School.

After law school, she clerked for Chief Justice Roberts and served as Counsel to Attorney General Mukasey. She is currently a part-time lawyer.  She spends her time in Missouri and Northern Virginia with her husband and two children.
