Passages is a new podcast sponsored by Mere Orthodoxy and hosted by Joshua Heavin and Caleb Wait. The first season of the show is an in-depth examination of the Nicene Creed built around close readings of early Christian texts and interviews with several scholars and theologians. It will explore how the proponents of the Nicene faith related their theology to solidarity with the poor, affirming the irreducible worth and dignity of human beings created in the image of God in Christ, opposition to slavery, the significance of baptism, early Christian worship and hymns, and the apocalyptic watchfulness of at present looking for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
