“Ora et Labora” (from Henrik Harder, Epigrams 1)

Ut felix sit opus tuum, precare;
ut felix sit opus tuum labora.
Ceu nil proficerent preces, labora;
ceu nil proficeret labor precare.

So that your toil may turn out happy, pray;
So that your toil may turn out happy, work.
As if your prayers would profit nothing, work;
As if your work would profit nothing, pray.
