Apple and the Manhattan Declaration - Mere Orthodoxy | Christianity, Politics, and Culture

In recent days, Steve Jobs and Apple have kowtowed to the Left and removed The Manhattan Declaration application from their app store after homosexual activists labeled the app “gay-hating” and “homo-hostile.”

If you’ve not read the document (which you should), you’ll discover that the document is a far cry from any semblance of gay-hating. The document is extremely kind towards those it disagrees with and absent from its tone is any certain hostility and malevolence.

The Daily Caller has a helpful article on the issue.

I’m not convinced that online petitions are helpful or useful, but, given the circumstances, I would ask that all of our readers take a few seconds and sign the petition. You can do so by going here. As of this writing, there have already been over 5,700 signatures added. The group which opposed the Manhattan Declaration had only 8,000.
