The New Media Frontier: Blogging, Vlogging, and Podcasting for Christ will be published by Crossway Books in September 2008.
Roger Overton and John Mark Reynolds are the editors.
My contribution is an exploration of the negative side-effects of embracing new media. My title? "Three Cautions Amidst the Cheers: The Dangers of Uncritically Embracing New Media."
It was, not surprisingly, a difficult chapter to write. How do you criticize new technology without sounding like a reactionist Luddite? I try and, I hope, succeed.
I'll have updates here as the release date approaches, especially the link to buy it. Many thanks go out to Crossway for being willing to take a chance on a kid like me, and especially to Roger Overton, as his leadership and persistence was indispensable for making this book happen.
