The National Right to Life Committee endorsement of Fred Thompson prompted a collective head scratching, as Thompson doesn't support a constitutional ban on abortion and is hardly the most likely candidate to win the nomination.
Apparently, some of the State committees see things differently than the national committee. The Georgia Right to Life Committee announced this morning that they are endorsing Mike Huckabee for President. My hunch is that more states will follow as Thompson's star continues to dim and Huckabee solidifies himself as the leading social conservative candidate.
