Casey Spinks

Casey Spinks is a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Texas at Austin. His first book, Kierkegaard’s Ontology, was published in 2026 by Bloomsbury. His academic work has appeared in Scottish Journal of Theology and Heythrop Journal, among others. He is also a contributing editor to Front Porch Republic, and his public writing has appeared in Comment, Current, Christianity Today, and elsewhere. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Spinks earned his B.A. and M.A. in philosophy and religious studies from Louisiana State University, and Ph.D. in religion from Baylor University.
