🚨 URGENT: Mere Orthodoxy Needs YOUR Help

Sponsor Mere-O

By Matthew Lee Anderson

Now that we're seven years old here at Mere-O, I figured it was time to do some experimenting with accepting advertisements.

It wasn't an easy decision for me.  I've gone back and forth on the potential conflicts of interest that might arise, on the aesthetics of advertising, and whether I'd lose my integrity for decrying consumerism while hosting advertising dollars.

But we took the plunge, partly because the additional resources will go back into building Mere-O and partly because the enormous investment of time that I have put in is, as I grow older, getting harder to justify without an accompanying financial incentive.  I've slowly moved toward treating my writing and thinking as a vocation, but the practical realities of eating don't go away.

I'm grateful for the two sponsors we already have.  But if you are interested in sponsoring us, you can check this page out or contact me directly.
