Peter Jennings interviewing John McCain:
Mcain: “You know, the war was the big issue in this election and Bush was the best candidate for that reason, but I’m still good friends with John Kerry.”
Jennings: “Well, there you have it: John McCain is good friends with John Kerry and friends with…well, he didn’t say he was friends with George Bush so I shouldn’t either.”
That is so bizarre! He campaigned for GWB! Why is the media so obsessed with McCain? They think he (like Arnold) is really one of them, and read all kinds of things between the lines, then get disappointed when McCain and Arnold actually campaign for Bush like they say they will.
I agree.
I should also credit Charity Mealman for pointing it out to me, as I was engaged in an online project when he said it.
You might also be interested in the controversy over the the candyland piece because the Atlantic author seems to have lifted Rachel Stone’s images and some of her ideas from a post that Stone had already posted on the same subject. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/ellenpainterdollar/2013/04/questions-remain-in-the-controversy-in-candy-land/
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
