Why is this necessary?
To put it shortly: since 2024, Mere Orthodoxy has been living on rented land.
Our website and backend systems have been maintained by a previous ministry partner that is no longer operating. They generously offered to continue to support us so we had a runway to migrate to a new system and that runway is beginning to run out. If we fail to migrate to new systems, we will lose everything.
Thankfully, we have successfully migrated everything except for Memberships. That is the only thing we cannot migrate on our own.
Only you can migrate your membership.
How will this impact me?
After the inconvenience of migrating, your Membership experience will get significantly better.
Since we are now on a site that we custom built ourselves, we are able to provide you with a much better Member experience. You can now set or change your shipping address, payment information, and Membership level on your own. You'll never have to ask for it again.
But even better than that, you will now have access to a custom Member dashboard just for you where you can access all of your Member benefits including new ones like bookmarking articles and reading history. Audio articles, downloadable PDFs, and gift links are now on the entire Mere Orthodoxy archive. We will continue to improve the experience for Members moving forward.
