    Apparently scientists are working on artificial photosynthesis.

    This would allow capturing and re-capturing the energy from breaking water into hydrogen and oxygen.

    The sun light we receive each day is almost immeasurable. If safe, the energy created by photosynthesis would be virtually limitless.

    Other short term solutions seem pathetic in comparison.
