Jason Hood
Jason is a Texan-turned-Memphian, a former secondary school teacher in the ‘hood who has taught in a wide variety of contexts ranging from urban colleges and seminaries to large congregations. This fall he and his wife and four kids move to Moshi, Tanzania, to pastor St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, an international English-speaking congregation. (If you’re visiting the Serengeti, Masai Mara, Mt. Kilimanjaro or the Ngorongoro craters, stop by and say, “Jambo!”) His first book was the published version of his dissertation on Matthew’s Gospel . . . and thus not fit for normal human consumption.
