I'm honored to join Dan Cruver, my pastor, and a whole host of folks at Together for Adoption in Phoenix.
As an interested observer, but not direct participant (yet!) of the adoption movement, I might be the most curious addition to the list of overly qualified speakers. That is, of course, grounds for coming and hearing me, rather than the opposite. I hope to think through some of the themes I've been working through a little more fully, except with a twist toward orphan care and how the unique role that parents might play in shaping young people's perception of their own bodies.
At any rate, if you're in the area, the conference is extremely worthy.
Let me know in the comments if you're coming, so that we can make sure to say "hi."
