Sacred Season: Episode 3

Thanks so much for listening to the third episode of Sacred Season!

Opening Scripture: Revelation 21:3

Closing Scripture: Luke 2:25-32

Original podcast music by Shannon Soderlund (who does, btw, have a WONDERFUL Christmas album that everyone should buy.)

A few resources for teaching your kids about bodies:

God Made All of Me by Justin Holcomb (a book on helping your kids protect their bodies) – There’s an entire “God Made” series wherein different authors tackle tough subjects in a way that’s centered in biblical truth and age-appropriate for younger children. Topics include race, disability, and gender.

Psalms of Praise: A Movement Primer by Danielle Hitchen (a book about how we praise God with our whole bodies)

Jesus Heals: An Anatomy Primer by Danielle Hitchen (a book about how God cares for our whole body)

And for adults:

Earthen Vessels: Why Our Bodies Matter to Our Faith by Matthew Lee Anderson (a book which carefully explores how our bodies are central to our faith lives)
