Earthen Vessels, Matthew Lee Anderson, 978-0-7642-0856-0Sex, yoga, and a theology of the body.

That’s what I’m going to be talking about next Thursday night in Phoenix at Redemption Church’s “Arcadia Theology Forum” from 6-8 PM.

If you’re in the area, come on out.  I’d love to meet you.  And if you’re not but know someone who might be interested, I’d appreciate you passing the word along.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so if you’ve read Earthen Vessels want to get some questions in face to face, this should be a great opportunity.

I’m thankful for the folks at Redemption Church for having me.  It should be a fun time.

  1. Hi, Matthew, and thanks for last night. I enjoyed some thought-provoking discussion with friends following your talk. It definitely caused us to discuss things we wouldn’t normally have had a context to bring up.

One comment I forgot to share – at the beginning you had the tech guys show an excerpt from the film “Chariots of Fire.” The video was playing on a webpage – I’m not sure whether that was from our Redemption Church site or a page here at Mere Orthodoxy – but that webpage had mispelled the runner Eric Liddell’s name as Eric *Little.* Small error, but just thought I’d mention it for further reference. And if that page was on Redemption’s blog, then forgive my correction.

Thanks again for a very enlightening evening.
