🚨 URGENT: Mere Orthodoxy Needs YOUR Help

Descartes and Mere-O

February 18th, 2010 | 1 min read

By Matthew Lee Anderson

A few weeks ago, we announced that we were going to read Descartes with a small group of Mere-O readers.  And we still are.

But we’re going to do it a week later than we originally announced:  March 6th and March 13th.  So if you’ve thought about joining in, you still have time.

I mean, what other blog is gives you the opportunity to discuss one of history’s most influential thinkers with a bona fide expert in that field?  And when will you have a better opportunity to interact with one of the chief sources of modernity directly, rather than simply reading others who have read him?

Some people might read Descartes on their own, and learn a lot from him.  The rest of us, though, need some friends to read and talk about him with.  That’s what we aim to provide.

So, join us  March 6th and 13th at 12:00 p.m. CST.  You won’t regret it.  Though if you do, it won’t be our fault.
