This is the surprise of the year for me. Mere-Orthodoxy has earned the [distinction of being nominated for the "Best Religious Blog" category](http://weblogawards.org/2005/12/best%5Freligious%5Fblog.php?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) of the 2005 Weblog Awards. For first-time visitors, I've highlighted a number of Mere-O posts below.
