A week of night simulator rides has left my mind unable to do much more this Sunday afternoon than just take a nap (which I intend to do as soon as I post this). So, rather than an attempt to say anything interesting, or even slightly humorous, I will direct you attention to something I found rather interesting and something I found incredibly humorous.

**The Interesting**

First of all, I’m sure many of you have heard of [Project Gutenberg](http://www.gutenberg.org/?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) and their large collection of free e-texts. [Distributed Proofreaders](http://www.pgdp.net/c/default.php?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) was founded in 2000 to assist Project Gutenberg manage the large amount of work and volunteers needed to make the conversion of paper texts to electronic media successful. I recently signed up as a volunteer proofreader and now spend a few minutes here and there proofreading various in-progress texts. It’s a fun way to take a break from studying, and it supports a good cause; I’d recommend it to all of you bibliophiles out there.

**The Humorous**

Not sure if this Berlitz commercial spoofing the [German Coast Guard](http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1365353836237246497&q=german+coast+guard&ref=mereorthodoxy.com) has been passed around the web much, but I found this to be one of the most hilarious and most creative commercials I have seen in a long time. Go enjoy it…I’m enjoying my afternoon break from sinking.
