You don't want to miss this event. Many people know Ken Myer's profound influence as Christianity's leading interviewer. [Mars Hill Audio Journal](http://marshillaudio.org/?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) is an indispensable resource for Christians who are interested in the shape Christianity should take in our world.

Fewer people know of Oliver O'Donovan's profound impact on the field of theology and North American evangelicalism. His book [*Resurrection and Moral Order*](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0802806929/ref=as%5Fli%5Fss%5Ftl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0802806929&linkCode=as2&tag=mereorth-20&ref=mereorthodoxy.com)is (unquestionably) one of the most important works in Christian ethics in the past fifty years. [*Begotten or Made?*](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003N64Y46/ref=as%5Fli%5Fss%5Ftl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003N64Y46&linkCode=as2&tag=mereorth-20&ref=mereorthodoxy.com)might be the best 86 pages on bioethics by a Christian theologian. [*Desire of the Nations*](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0521665167/ref=as%5Fli%5Fss%5Ftl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0521665167&linkCode=as2&tag=mereorth-20&ref=mereorthodoxy.com)is essential reading for anyone seriously interested in political theology. There are few minds yet living that are as learned or as wise as his.

I am grateful for the various co-sponsors for partnering to make the event happen, especially [Christian's Library Press](http://www.clpress.com/?ref=mereorthodoxy.com), which is working to recover an important tradition of Protestant ethical reflection that has sometimes been overlooked. And for those interested in theologically robust, city-renewal projects, I can't think of a better group than [Renew DC](http://www.renewdc.org/?ref=mereorthodoxy.com).
