If there is an issue that the evangelical left and right speak with a single voice on, sex trafficking is it.

The trade has received an increasing amount of attention the past two years. While it started before *Amazing Grace*, the film brought an enormous amount of attention to the movement. Since then, as the International Justice Mission’s influence has grown, stopping sex trafficking has become a rallying cry for evangelicals of all ages and types.

And that excites me.

And now the [filmmakers are addressing it directly](http://www.whitestonemotionpictures.com/featured-posts/the-candy-shop-film-announcement/?ref=mereorthodoxy.com). A friend sends me this teaser–it’s not even a trailer, as the film isn’t even in production yet–of an Atlanta-based film company making a short film on the topic.

The script of the teaser isn’t great, but the production value is quite good. These are serious filmmakers, and it’s a topic that deserves the sort of quality it seems like they’ll bring to it.
