The VodkaPundit is liveblogging the Republican debate so I don't have to.
Early impressions:
Forget Fred making a bad decision. He gets the benefit of the debate without being there. It's like being in two places at once! Three or four questions have already mentioned his non-presence and positions (real positions, not non-positions).
When John McCain talks, I get bored. Sorry.
If Huckabee could win this thing, I might vote for him. But he can't. Sorry. Can we make him VP, regardless of who wins? It's rare that I think this, but I actually enjoy listening to him talk.
Giuliani is obviously under the gun from, oh, McCain and Romney. I haven't seen him for a while and have forgotten how personable he can be. His answers on immigration were less than stellar, but enough to make me think life will go on if he's elected.
As for Romney, whom I've been leaning toward, the Vodkapundit thinks he sounds canned. I remain undecided on this vast and important issue. He just got smacked down by McCain on the surge, however, which isn't exactly good.
