Also worth your time is [this article](http://news.yahoo.com/s/thenation/20060223/cm%5Fthenation/20060313blumenthal;%5Fylt=A86.I01FKv5DuvYAKgb9wxIF;%5Fylu=X3oDMTBjMHVqMTQ4BHNlYwN5bnN1YmNhdA?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) on Princeton academic and natural law theorist Robert George. I'm somewhat influenced by George--I found his *Natural Law* an able and compelling contemporary defense of natural law theory. After reading the article, check out [this piece](http://jonrowe.blogspot.com/2006/02/some-thoughts-on-natural-law-this%5F25.html?ref=mereorthodoxy.com) by Jonathan Rowe--Rowe disagrees with George and (I think) conflates natural law theory with natural theology in suggesting that it might be possible to argue for the doctrine of the Trinity through natural law which, I think, no natural law theorist has ever suggested--natural law theory seems more a meta-ethical theory than a theology. But Rowe's piece contains some interesting thoughts about the Founding Fathers and natural law theory.
