Hey all—I've got a couple things I'm hoping to get published soon from other contributors and I'm wanting to continue the series I started last week. That said, my dad has been in the hospital since last Monday afternoon and is now on a ventilator as they try to help him recover from some massive brain trauma suffered following a complication from a necessary treatment to deal with some blood clots in his lungs. You can read more about it here on Joie and my family blog. For now, if things are a bit slow around here, that's why. We'd also really appreciate your prayers for dad and for our family as we may be forced to make some very difficult decisions in the coming days.
