“The Jews! The Jews!” the malcontented cry,  
When, feeling disappointed with their lot  
And looking for a scapegoat, they espy  
A substitute to blame for all their rot.

Their spit-flecked lips re-echo “Crucify!”;  
They think that they’re the saviors in this plot.
